The sauna price ranges we quote from run from IDR 15–35 million for an installed portable unit, through IDR 60–120 million for a custom 2×2 m dry cabin and IDR 50–100 million for a turnkey steam room, to IDR 45–90 million for a chilled cold plunge. Everything here is indicative and applies across Bogor Raya; the itemised quote follows a free survey.

What pushes a quote towards the top of the range?
Four things, in roughly this order. Timber comes first: pinewood sits at the bottom of a range, red cedar in the middle, thermowood and figured cedar at the top, and the difference across a 2×2 m cabin is easily thirty million rupiah. Glazing is second — a single vision panel is modest, a full glass front is not, and two glazed walls with a frameless corner is a different cabin altogether.
Third is the electrical position. A cluster house in Sentul City already holding 7,700 VA needs a circuit and nothing more. A house in Empang on 2,200 VA needs a PLN change of capacity, paid by the owner, and often a new run from a consumer unit on the far side of the building. Fourth is access and location: a ground-floor room off a driveway is quick, while a terrace at Vimala Hills reached by a footpath adds handling days that we would rather show you in the quote than absorb quietly.
Two things do not change the price. The survey is free wherever you are in Bogor Raya, and we do not price the Puncak road differently from Kota Bogor — the extra travel is our problem, not a line item.
What does it cost to run each month in Bogor?
For a household using it three or four times a week: a dry sauna is IDR 200,000–500,000 a month, an infrared cabin IDR 100,000–250,000, a steam room IDR 300,000–600,000, and a cold plunge IDR 300,000–700,000 depending on how cold you hold it and how exposed the tub is.
Consumables are minor but real. Sauna stones want replacing every few years, a steam generator needs flushing on schedule and a softener if your water is hard, and a plunge needs filter cartridges and either ozone or UV lamp replacement. Budget one to two million rupiah a year for a dry cabin, rather more for steam.
The two-year structural warranty covers the cabin itself; heaters keep their 1–2 year factory cover, and we hold spare parts for Harvia, Sawo and Tylö in Indonesia so a failed element does not mean a three-month wait.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price include installation and the electrical work?
Yes: heater or generator, stones, guard, heat-resistant SiHF cable, a dedicated breaker, an ELCB and installation with a test heating. Excluded are the PLN capacity upgrade, which PLN bills to the owner, and any building work outside the cabin itself.
How is payment structured, and when do I get a firm number?
A free survey produces a visualisation and an itemised quote, usually within a few days. On signature, 50 per cent as deposit; the balance falls due before installation begins. The firm number is the quote — it does not move afterwards unless you change the specification.
Is a sauna in a Puncak villa more expensive than one in Kota Bogor?
Not because of where it is. The same cabin costs the same in Cisarua as in Tajur. What can differ is handling, if panels must be carried a long way by hand, and roofing or decking for an outdoor unit — both shown as their own lines.
